I hope it won't hurt Orlando too much, I hope it won't hurt anything , but with 145mph and maybe more strengthening it's going to hurt something. Im going to orlando for our honeymoon in less than 2 months so I hope it stays away from disney world and wet-n-wild.

Mag, where is your shop? I am right down the channel coming off the Gulf in Deep Passage Lane. We will get hit hard becasue there is nothing to stop it from rolling in.

My first floor is only 7 feet as well. I know it will be gone. No furniture there just a washer and dryer and vehicles. If it gets to the second floor I am screwed.

I have the big pilings on the first floor holding it down but the windows, doors, or walls will be blown out by the water pressure.

By the way, I am in a place far, far from there. I will be jumping in the plane heading that way as soon as the winds die down.

To all of you in the affected area. if you haven't been thru a major hurricane before...listen...take it seriously and protect your family...everything can be replaced.

We have been gone!

Just checked my papers to make sure we have full coverage for flood insurance!

Sad part is we just finished a total rebuild inside and out a little over a year ago. Probably the only that thing that will be left is the standing seam roof!

I just talked to ChrisK in Orlando. He says that they are asking everyone to be off the road at 2 and he is headed home from work. He says that right now it's cloudy on them but nothing else yet. He's under orders to keep in touch as much as possible!
