Default Powder coating drives

I need to have my drives/mid section of an outboard powder coated.

Can it hold up to high temps ?

Does it last in salt water with heat ?

Thanks,

Curtis

Default Re: Powder coating drives

there is another thread on this ..........I think "painting drives" ... I PC'd one of my drives about 6 months ago and so far no problems .. But if your drives have any corrosion now it will be visible with the PC unless you do a lot of prep before hand or mutliple PC coats ..... Also need to use a procedure called Gassing which is heating the metal before painting ...if not the corrosion will continue under the PC' .
