I think the Superboat with a 496 has even more speed in it. Problem is people do not like to spend the time and money dialing in a boat for more speed. The boat below ran in the low 80's in F1 trim with the Innovation Marine GM Vortec engine in 2003 and I still believe with more funding to this team there was more speed to be obtained with this hull.

I did not know you were at Eddies shop. I used to hang out with Alan a lot in College. We both bought our boats the same year. Except mine was running that year because I bought my 27 used!!! Have you seen Alan? Last I heard he wanted to convert it to a single I/O set up?

Speaking of Activator, do they make a boat in the 35-38 foot range?

Interesting - the reason I ask is that there is a boat here in Norwalk CT that is in the 38ish size but has more freeboard than the one in the picture and doesn't have canopies. It says Activator on the side. Since the only Activators I've seen are 28's, and I did not recognize the design, I was wondering all summer if "Activator" was just what the guy named it.

That is it - the 32'. It was parked along a building and looked bigger, but that is definately it.

Are you talking about the White Lightning Activator???? There are pics of this boat in the Activator Owner's Forum.

I don't think it's the White Lightning. This boat was bright yellow and I believe had some dark blue graphics. It looked to be in excellent shape and had the 2 blower scoops on the hatch. It was parked outside a business called Carpet King.

the g.ps in the 04' 30 y2k says 81 mph, as of 2 days ago, with the 525. we'll see the end result.
