bolster seat conversion
i have a 1989 formula 31,1sr1. it has factory bolsters in place, one of the shocks are bad on the seat. i was wondering if there was a way to convert the seats from manual bolsters to electric without having to change the pedestal. i want to keep the factory seats. did not know if there was a kit out there to do such a thing. it looks like it would be simple with the right motor and ram. any thoughts ?

Re: bolster seat conversion
The people who made the hydraulic piston ond actuator button are RW Porter or something similar. THey make airline seats among other things. I posted the web addrress a while back in a thread about bolsters.
My brain is vacant at the moment or I'd give you the exact address--but it's on here somwhere--do a search for my posts if all else fails. THey are great people to dfeal with and may have an answer.

Re: bolster seat conversion
I found the web site for the bolster actuator bunch--the ones used on older Formula's are under the Manual Systems tab.
