Default DRIVES, toe in or out?

I have a 94 290 powerquest, I am servicing the drives,gimbals,etc. I noticed that the drives are "toe in" I would call it. The front of the drive is closer together than the back. Any suggestions on if they should be straight or "toed"?

depending on prop rotation, should be in/ out about 3/16
