Volvo has a really good synthetic lube for commercial boat drive units. I think we need to get a few of us to give it a try. I will bet with a GL-5 rating the stuff is the one to beat.

Synthetic oil grade 75W90 corresponding to API GL5 requirements is recommended for commercial use.

I found the lubrimatic synthetic in 5 gal. pails but I'm not sure how good that stuff is.
