switching drive ratios
my b1 has 1:36 drive ratio,was thinking of switching to 1:50 which would let me prop up.will this increase speed?would i have to change upper,lower or both.

Non XR bravo's change the ratio by the
different gears in the upper.
XR's are changed by different gears in the lower.
I've heard of quite a few people having success
going to a 1.5:1.

I did that last year. Went from 1.36 to a 1.50. Lost about 2 miles per hour but better response and get there quicker. Also planes better when loaded.

On a 36 Outlaw I lost 2-3 mph going to a 1:50 from a 1:36.
All the experts told me to go to the 1:50 by I am regretting it sometimes. I felt no better holeshot or acceleration with the 1:50
