Cranes customer service praise
OK, first.......
Sent my 40 hr old cam to Crane a couple of weeks ago to have them polish, regrind,or replace, whatever was needed. They returned it 3 days later with only a needed polishing. NO CHARGE!
Then,.........
I needed to replace the 2 pair of lifters that had pit marks on the rollers from my condensation problem, hence the cam polishing job. Called all over the USA looking for 2 pair, or a full set. Which ever I could recieve the soonest. No one had any. Not a soul! Everyone was on a 1 month back order from Crane on the roller lifters. So I called Crane themselves last Friday. Talked to a very nice gentleman that I dealt with on the cam issue, he handed me over to a lady in his office. I explained my failure to find any in stock anywhere. So, her reply........ we'll build you your 2 pair 1st thing Monday and get them in the mail to you. Low and behold, get home from work today and there they are.......my new lifters!
Now that is going above and beyond duty!
Just wanted to pass on that there still are companies that are there for the customers.

Refreshing to hear customers service is still out there....somewhere....it can be a rare animal these days....and i just figured otu who my next cam will come from.. and acces....
