Max Speed 29 Scarab
Hello all I'm trying to get some help here. I have a 1997 29 Scarab and live in Bermuda. I recently replaced my original 350 mag motors with two 383 mag stroker engines. I have bravo one drives with the same standard props on the boat it came with. After some testing and running in about a 3' chop I had the boat running around 65mph. I want to know with this set up should I be expecting much more on my top end? I'm considering some new props and possibly a gear ratio change. Any help or feed back would be appreciated.

Can you give more information. What RPM is your engine set up for, what is your RPM at WOT? Can you give a few details about your engines and what do you estimate the HP at?
I used to know a guy that had one with twin 454's about 420 HP each. Also what prop are you running? His boat ran about 68-70 on the GPS.
