my whole point is $$$ I know how to do EFI...right at this time I choose not to for cost reasons alone..but thats just me....things are tight and if $$ were no object I would run a aftermarket EFI setup in a second....but the way things are far more cost effective for me to run carbs...but to each their own...

Jason,
Didn't you have programming issues with your Crockett engine upgrades?
If I am remembering things correctly you had a hell of a time getting
the engines to run properly. Why would you jump on Steve for merely
pointing out the obvious? I hope it is something simple that does not
require any reprogramming, but as pointed out, it may be.

There is no way I would take a disfunctional EFI system from an engine and repalce it with a carb knowing what I know now about correctly fixing EFI. The advantages are just too great compared to a carb.
