Default What's the best GPS speedo?

Well, I was hoping to install a GPS speedo, but it is a bit too costly as I have some other winter projects I am going to have to do.

So, I want to buy a good handheld GPS speedo with a display that is easily readible. Don't care about mapping or any of the other stuff cuz I have a Tom Tom that I am fairly happy with.

Any reccomendaions for a good handheld with a good mount will be greatly appreciated.

That sounds like a great deal. I will check into it, although there will be ALOT of that 120 mph gauge I won't be using.

I would do the samrtphone thing except I don't have one. I am kicking and screaming to keep my cell phone as dumb as I am. I just can't stand the thought of giving those bastages any more money each month.

Checked into the Livorsi and I am afraid I am going to have to pass. All they had in Black was a 160mph.

I would need a new GPS and a magic wand to make that speedo work in my baot and even with the magic wand I don't want to see anywhere near 160 in a 25 foot boat.

Anybody have any good info on the handhelds?

Default Handheld GPS

Garmin eTrex H $80

Simple, idiot proof, works great. GPS speed and many other functions.
Order with it's mount or pick up a generic one just about anywhere.
