Default Steamy 502's...

Ok, did some searching, and from what I can tell...what I have is fairly normal.

Starboard exhaust/dump more steamy that Port side, and only when thermo's open up...

Everything is new on the exhaust side, i.e. risers, manifolds, gaskets etc. Thermostats are new, along with impellers. Motors both seem to be getting good water pressure as the temps do not exceed 175 degrees. They run between 150-175. At 170 ish, thermo's open and engines cool right back to 150-155...this is where more steam is apparent. Oh yeah, the gaskets that came with my new stuff for the risers are the 27-863724's which have 2 slotted holes and 2 small 1/8" or so holes...not sure if that makes a difference.

Just want to make sure this is normal. Everything else looks great. No leaks, oil is clean, oil pressure good (38-42 lbs on each), etc...

Thanks!
