yes. I figured you'd be wantin to spin her to 6000ish . I'd prob go a bit smaller if it was an automatic car or less compression, but with the 4spd and 10:1, i'd think she'd run well with it.

I think she might have 600hp in it with that combo. Did you get the cnc chamber option?

Fwiw. The intake valve closing point, is prob the #1 player in a cams power curve. The valves closing point can change with ICL .

109 LSA with 106 ICL= 45* intake close. Pipe max says good for 5931RPM
112 LSA with 109 ICL = 48.5 * intake close. Pipe max says good for 6161RPM
114 LSA with 110 ICL = 49.5 * intake close. Pipe max says good for 6238RPM

A change in LSA, or really ICL, can change the powerband, even though the .050 duration, doesn't change. Looking at almost 300rpm there.

A 222* intake lobe, with LSA of say 110, typically having a ICL of 106, would close the intake valve at 37*. Pipe max says good for 5277RPM. (makes sense when you think about it. A 454 Magnum, has a 224 intake lobe, with 115 LSA, and is done around 5200. A tighter LSA cam, will peak sooner typically bc the intake valve closes sooner)

A 231* intake lobe, like that Lunati Snap suggested, having a 110 LSA and 106 ICL, has an intake closing of 41.5*. Pipe max says good for 5623RPM.

I know an OSO member, who has 454's with 308 Darts. 230/235 ish madera cams. 9.2:1, 850 carb, victor jr intakes if I recall. Made 530hp and was done at 5300ish on the dyno. He's installing bigger cams currently.

Keep in mind he said it had power brakes. That means 18" vacuum at idle for them to work properly. Really limits cam selection. I just fought through this on my Cobra replica with stack injection. Ended up adding a vacuum pump from a diesel pickup to solve it.
