Default 525 efi oil temp sender location

I'm trying to find the best spot to put a oil temp sender on my Whippled 525. I found a 1/4 pipe plugin the oil thermostat housing, not sure if it's before or after the cooler though. Where have others put oil temp senders on their 525s? Thank guys.

from what I can tell it should be the feed to the cooler, in the picture its inline with the far back right side line connection, but you need to verify it.

Posted this in my project thread but figured I'd share with f-2. You were correct with that plug location. I ended up putting mine next to the oil pressure sender. The thermostat housing allows oil to to flow through the cooler at all times, once the thermostat operates it actually closes the shortcut directly to the oil filter and forces the oil to go to the cooler first then to the filter.

Here's a pic with the thermostat in its open position which is when the oil is cold

Thermostat closed, oil hot, closed the route directly to filter.

I should've pulled it out before I put oil in but is that a oil temp sender in the block on the upper portion of the filter housing? The parts breakdown say it's a "cooling sender" but that doesn't make sense to me. Number 4 in this link

Labeled coolant sensor. So, either it is antifreeze, or mis-labeled.
