Ok I get it now!
I was just going to keep it in water and pull it out once a month and pressure wash it. I have a pressure washer already

Pressure washer not enough.
You'll need to buy a gross of Playtex Living Gloves, and some goggles. Might as well get a solvent-grade respirator mask as well. On-and-Off hull cleaner will be your new best friend. That stuff will burn your skin and eat holes in your clothes, but it works well at knocking the slims off the hull.
Bless your heart.
My vote is a lift for the boat. The $8,000 for the lift will be well spent. OR rack store it. I currently do mine that way. Not as convenient as a lift in a slip, but close...
I've heard of a new antifouling bottomcoat called Dolphinite. It is supposed to be a clear color. I have NO IDEA if it works or how well it works. What I DO know for SURE is that good name brand bottom paint with slime additive WILL keep the crap from sticking to the hull.
I've recently finished a 13' Whaler with bottom paint and then burnished it with a Scotchbrite pad on a DA sander. It's smooth.
I'd bet it's faster with the bottom paint than a nonpainted bottom with scum on it.
If you paint your bottom, you will have to get it removed and buffed back to shiny gel to ever sell it...
