Post Borg Warner 73c with 1,000hp+?

If you were doing a complete rerig on a 32 Skater, and you built a brand new set of 1,100's would you keep the 73c's? Or would you upgrade to a Huber or a Bam?

Ken, I don;t mean to question you, but are you sure you have 73's? They have not been made for at least 20 years. If you have stock 72 series, (current model is 1018) then they are rated at 475 HP.

(I make the Cyborg trans)

I'd go with the Cyborg from BAM or a Huber.

Cool

Marc, How are you! Rik Wimp from Arneson industries spoke highly of you and your products. My friend bought a 1987 32 Skater and it came with the transmissions. 73c's. The boat is clean. The motors are fresh 572's, 1471's 1,350's. Hp should exceed 1,000. Dynoing this week. I discouraged my friend from using the transmissions he has. I told him to buy your product or Hubers. The drives are number 4's.

Hi Ken , I got your Email, will reply soon. The 73 eats power, and I do not really know it's ultimate capacity. He can alway give it a try.
