I have some Borg warner 11 clutch tranny's in my 31 Python Cat. The last owner said he had them built to handle 1500 HP. One of them will not reverse. I have no other problems with it. What could be the problem and What am I looking at as far as $$$$$?

If forward is OK most likely someone put it in reverse at hi RPM and exploded the reverse clutch

If that is the case the resulting shrapnel will eventually take out the pump, then you will have no forward either

So how much will that run me to have it fixed? Also how does that work we don't have anyone out here in Colorado that works on Marine stuff like that. Is this something that I can take to the local tranny shop?

If you found the right guy maybe, they are not complicated but like anything else there are some tricks to getting it right. I would have to see it in order to give a price.
Who did the trans originally? Is there a nameplete or sticker on it?
