454 Whats it??
I'm helping a friend with his 81 Chris Craft Stinger project boat.
The engines are out and we are wondering what they are, here are some #s found on the blocks. It would be nice to know what our base line is....
1. GM 7.4 Hi Performance (cast in block)
2. GM 74L6
3.14015445
4. 335
5.T12088XN
Thanks
Joe

The XN indicates a 77-79 INBOARD left rotation, 330hp. Probably not oiginal, so who know what's in there. Check the heads though. If your lucky, they might be the large oval ports that were put on the lower hp motors around those years.
