Default 2000 hp 500s

on 2000 hp 500s how many hours till rebuild , oil changed every 10 hours since new. do you have to worry about valve springs at 200 hours like the older hp500s i have 260 hours not real hard used.

The 500 HP has a camshaft with .576/.598 intake/exhaust lift. This is quite a bit of lift for any engine/camshaft/valvetrain and is hard on valve springs. Even with the highest quality valve springs you will need to check them often. Also keep checking the rocker arms and roller lifters, especially if you run at idle and slow speeds alot (this is particularly hard on the valvetrain).
