I had a u joint let go on my old Baja. It's exactly like blown formula said , wrecks everything and it gets ugly real quick! Water comming in fast and no way to stop it. Buy the biggest bilge pump you can. 2 wouldn't be a bad idea either. Good to know about the Dodge truck U-joints.

Your right, a bad Gimbal bearing will cause these vibrations too. Im so paranoid about the u-joints and gimbal I change them every 100 hrs or 2 years whatever comes first. Change them while its apart, no point taking chances even if they feel good. Find out where the water came from.
