Default 502 mag whipple

I have a pair of 502 mags with whipples. These have no thermostats and water temp is running 78 degrees. My problem is when running these motors they milkshake. I have pressure checked the whole system no leaks. I have removed intercoolers no different. When I run them on the hose they clean right up and milkshake goes away. I think these motors are condensating because they are running to cold. Our water temp is 54 degrees and like I said the warmest I can get the motors is 78 degrees. What do you think? Condensation problem or what? My next step is to install 120 degree thermostat. If that does not work then I must have a leak. Help please.

I agree with your findings. You are not getting enough heat into the oil to burn off the moisture. Put in a thermostat and I think you will be fine.

You will get condensation(slight)from not getting your motor warm enough, but,i feel your water is coming from somewhere else. how long does it take for your oil to "milkshake". I'm running procharger on 540 that runs between 90-100 water temp but even with a huge offshore oil cooler my oil still gets pretty hot and our water here in mich isn't real warm. I don't have a oil temp gauge but you can't touch the oil lines after runing steady for a few minutes and oil never has had any trace of moisture in it.What are you running for head gaskets? Maybe they are leaking under running conditions or something weird,Good luck,Smitty

Oil temp is low my gauge starts at 140 and the needle does not register. I can touch the filter no problem. I am running felpro 1047 head gaskets. I usually use a cometic gasket for bigger power stuff. It is hard for me to believe that both motors are leaking water internally.
