al,
yes we are done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we will see how it shakes out for next year. i did not want to tear the boat up anymore. i hope somebody will come up with something that makes it a level playing field. it does not make sense if we are going to keep running in flat water races. i think everybody should have the same weight if were are running the same engines. i know everybody is trying to come up with something!!!!!!! there is no way a 30ft boat can keep up with 24 ft boat in flat water. see ya bc

Ah, sorry to hear that BC. I was looking forward to a four way Warlock race in Key West. At least someone would get some braggin' rights. We all have the same engine and would be the same weight. Of course we would be watching the first and second place boats from 30 seconds back...but we would still have had a good race.
You are the only non-525 to win this year...how about that!
Next year things will be different. We should all have the same engine/outdrive combination but I don't know about weight.
1) Should bigger boats get a break and weigh less.
2) Should the class all have the same weight regardless of size. (e.g. size doesn't matter)
3) Should your boat weigh whatever it weighs when fully rigged.
Let um know what you think and see you next year if not sooner.

The black Typhoon w/ 525 was introduced in Savannah.
Looking at the stats, there is no noticeable difference between black & white Typhoon.

Yeah like Peconic said! Keep lowering the weight and we will bring the white Typhoon to Key West 200 LBS lighter than it was last year. We all know it was a dog last year at the worlds with that tired old beat up,no HP, 15 raced 500 EFI out dated motor. We probably wouldn't stand a chance again!
