I decided to skip the bash, and head up to Higgins Saturday and Sunday. I'll be camping at the South State Park. Any tips on where to hang out??

In front of south state park, the sunken island, the sand bar off the true island, or off Detroit or flag point. If I hadn't talked my self into grand haven this weekend I woulda met up with u for sure.

Most of the time Ill hang out in front of the sate park and somtimes even in the lagoon. With the forcast looking good out front of SS park would be my choice

I was out there most the day saturday, what a great lake. Hung out at the sunken island in the morning, and moved over to the south state park in the afternoon. I'll be back!

Yeah 5-10 years ago it was even better, a lot cleaner... but then people started bringing in there nasty boats with zebra mussels and other harmful specimens that are causing the lake to get awfully dirty.
