Progressive in FL >30 ft existing customer

Looking to upgrade to a 33 ft Baja. Currently own a 29 Baja Outlaw. Progressive is my carrier through a local broker.

I know online progressive will not inusre a boat in Florida greater than 30 ft.
Just wondering since I am a existing customer if my broker can push it through....getting the 33 Baja.

Thanks
Dennis

Power can be an issue with them as well, nothing more than 415 HP per side so no 496 HO's no matter waht the size

Thanks I will be giving my broker a call. I know there are some on this board...Just wanted to hear what they had to say.
Previous yrs progressive would allow more power in the bigger boats. They use to approve HO's in the 33 and larger Baja's.

I know I'm grandfathered in with our 35" nordic, so I'm not sure if they will allow you to move up in size.
Hope it works out for you,
Dean

Boetye8,

As an agent for Progressive my recommendation would be to add the 33' Baja to your existing policy then cancel the coverage on your other Baja a few days later. The max HP allowed in their program is 500 per side and top speed not to exceed 75 mph. Hope this helps.
