Gibson Part #210001
OK for all you turn down muffler fans, here is something you cant turn down (or in this case you can turn down) for a price that will smoke anyone on the water
call me or e-mail me for prices that cant be beat
Gibson Turn Down Marine silencers slip onto your existing tips or tailpies and route the exhaust under water for silenced idling. This system does not have any internal baffling, so restriction is not an issue.
Ease of installation.
Tested up to 1,200 HP with no power loss.
High quality Stainless Steel construction.
OEM style transom mount.
Straight through design.
Utilizes water to dampen sound.
Has been designed and flow tested to ensure maximum flow.
These silencers were specifically designed for large displacement motors such as 500HP, 502, 525, 525SC, 575. and up to 1,200hp. Gibson is in constant contact with all major Performance boat builders to continually develop the line.

Let me find out. I will ask BOB TEAGUE when he gets in. He knows just about every boat out there and should be able to tell me if they should work and what kind of time and labor there is
let me get back to you later today.

OK here is a simple solution for what you are trying to do.
without taking off the platform you could cut out the bottom of the box so the water trapped in there will drain and at that point you
could install the Gibsons but here is something that you might want to do instead........as much as i would love to sell you a set of these tips you may just want to but out a pair of 6" holes on the bottom of the box and install a couple of access plates, this will allow you to keep the silent thunder and at the same time you could remove the access plate cover to allow the water to drain increasing your performance not to mention dropping about (this is a guess)50+ LBS of weight because your not storing water in the box. the access plate are cheap and you could pick them up anywhere( I also stock those ;o) ). Now you know and when you decide what you are going to do you could let me know
WE INSTALL EVERYTHING WE SELL

I have the Gibson too and love it, my brother got his from ebay but I wanted a valid warranty(the winter salt here destroys metal) so I got it here. gibson 210001, or you can try one of the vendors here on the forum, they are allways having sales/specials. Either way its a great system and very easy to install and for the price you give it a look.

You (a non paying member) come on here, post on the thread started by Teague and direct members to other "cheaper" sources to buy the same azz product that is on Teague's thread. Please take your "I am saving a couple of dollars" attitude over to another site before trying to embrass a true supporter of not only this site, but all performance boating.
