Re: New Cobalt Blue Pantera 36' Survivor Pics.
Back in the late 60's my cousin had a chance to buy an original Carroll Shelby Cobra with an aluminum body and a big block for an engine......but the car had some damage to the front fender where someone had backed into it....he passed, because he thought the guy was asking too much at $10,000.
This boat reminds me of the same kind of deal.....I bet the color is turning prospective buyers away......at this price someone could buy it and afford to have it painted three times and still be ahead of the market.
What would the buyer be getting?
A custom boat for one thing...not as common as it used to be.
A rigging job that can be rated with the best in the industry.
A long history of experience by a family that really knows what it takes to make a SAFE and fast boat.
A boat that would stand out and be the center of attention at any poker run or rally or just a waterside restaurant.
Do yourself a favor and stop by and see this boat in person, I have.
If you come down for the Ft Lauderdale boat show or the races in Key West..... if it is still around.
Then again you could pass and someday have a great story to tell like my cousin does today.

Joe, Just curious on the new gels , do they retain there color better than the ones back in the 80's? I had a Scarab with a nice black center strip and that thing would fade by the time we made it out the pier heads and threw anchor. I love seeing all the colors making a come back. The all white was getting a bit much. Beautiful boat and great line! And the price I think anyone would be hard pressed to find a better value!

Speed Buff. You might be able to afford it the way the price is going down. I'm sure there is a taker somewhere at 185,000.
