Not really. If you get into big power, it will add a mph or two. I ended up changing from a 2" to a 3" drive spacer on mine. It carried the bow better, rode better at cruise speed and was about 2 mph faster at WOT than it was with a 2" spacer.

...... this boat i was planning on picking up in a few weeks after i can prove that i got a new job. Looks like i may have to start looking at Cigarette 28ss...............

you run with a cool crew, definately get us some pics of the boats. Let us know what they have in them and how does that Apache run compared to the Panteras? JAIME

thanks, my buudys Pantera has a 572 750 hp
the 28 Apache, single 635 700+ Hp runs maybe better than the Pantera.
the 32 Stinger twin 509's.
i'll get some pics once were all done.
