So would I be able to do this run on a 20 foot larson? We boat out of Crystal Beach all summer so I am aware of the water conditions. On the form it says "under 65" class, is that cruise speed or top speed?

Thanks,
Josh

Josh, You would be in the 65 and under class. This class is for smaller boats and guys that do not like flying around. The 65+ class boats run around 80-100 MPH and are around 35-42'.I believe the smallest boat last year was a 20' scarab.
( But he did 80 MPH)

Lunch stop answer: The run will be having a lunch stop at Sunset Beach Club. This is also a card stop for the run. You are on your own for lunch .There is a restaurant at the beach. We will be at this stop for a couple of hrs. Keep the e-mails coming!!!!!!!!!

perlmudder- bring it on. you will be just fine on the poker run, there's plenty of smaller boats and its not a race. lots of the larger boats will run in the slower pace class to not beat up on there rigs and in many cases it's more enjoyable. hope to see you there.

Website is finished and up and running please check it out www.powerboatingwny.com . We have moved up the due date for sponsors. The date is now MAY 25th please get them in. You are now going to get 1 year listing on the website as a adder for your sponsorship. Also for those planning to register on friday night ( which we like you to register sooner) but we know you are out there please let us know. Because we are doing dinner for friday night registration a head count is important. Last year we had a larger then expected showing which was great. Please let us now by e-mailing us at on_the_ [email protected] . Thanks

First, Thanks for all the e-mails and calls concerning this years run. As you can imagine, the restaurants are looking for a head count earlier than years past. With the economy every one is looking out to plan accordingly. Please send in those entry forms ASAP to help us all out. Forms are at www.powerboatingwny.com. We are still looking for 2 pace boats . 1 for 65 and under and 1 for the over class. Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks !!!
