No dog in the fight, and no experience with the event.
But that info should have been publicized ahead of time so people could make better arrangements; especially first time attendees. Some folks like and/or need to get on the road at 0-Dark-30 the day after an event; not to mention if someone has an family emergency or similar. They may not be leaving at that moment, but like to get their rig together. Also, what if someone has a hull compromise and is racing their bilge pumps to get back on the trailer?

If it's best to have the trailer/truck at a different location for a trailering/retrieval during and/or immediately after the event, then those logistics need to be arranged for ahead of time; with plenty of notification and information for newcomers and out-of-towners.

there is also a launch on the other side of the bridge (tin lizzys landing)...not public but pretty nice as well, i'd check with them on the fee for pulling your boat out but it's not going to be ridiculous so it's worth a try. Not sure how crowded it gets over there either... I do understand the need and desire to pull out your boat asap and party though its all a great time I can assure you of that!!!

I agree completely, I would not expect to be pulled out during the best party night....

How far is that from Bloodriver Marina? I understand that's where most of the parties are at. Where should I be looking to stay to keep the action in earshot?

Running 80-90 mph the whole way, you can get there in 45 minutes to an hour.... Definitely not close IMO
