Default white rail package

Hi guys anybody know a good procedure and paint to touch up small chips/ scratches on the factory white out rail pkg ? I would just like to use a small model paint brush. Do i need to use a special paint & primmer because of the powder coated stainless?

I would try some type of ceramic touch up paint. Something like they use on appliances. My last boat had the white out package on it. I did really like it but I know what you mean about the little chips here and there. The new ride is all stainless, easy maintenance.

I will get you the name of the stuff I bought from PQ when I get home today. It works VERY well. I have consider stripping everything and leaving it just as stainless. Any comments?

Taylor made windshields makes a great epoxy product that duplicates very closely there powdercoat technology that is used on their windshields. I have used it (bought directly from them) and it is almost indistinguishable from the powdercoat.

I stripped every peice of powdercoated part on my boat a couple yrs ago. Spent all winter polishing the rails, seat bases and grab handles to a mirror finish. All the SS rails looked to have been glass beaded before coating to give the coating a better grip. It's not just strip the coating off and your done. Lot of work. I also didn't like the chips and the white PC'ing always looked dirty.
