Default Prop Question

I have a 86 Cig and that I bought last summer. Well at the end of the year the marina took off the props with out labeling which one is which

Can anyone tell me the best way to get them back on the correct way.

Thanks

I'll take a guess...... What drives do you have? Most older Cigs with TRS drives turn outward (right hand prop on Starboard side). I would start here and shift into gear momentarily on the trailer and verify the rotation is correct.

Side note: If you do have TRS drives and you do put the props on and the boat is goes in reverse when forward and vice versa. DO NOT try to get on plane with the trannies in reverse it will wipe out the tranny in no time. Unlike a Bravo boat this can not be done.

Most likely outward rotation. Run the boat on the trailer without the props and put into forward. This will tell the correct propeller to install on the correct drive.
