I think I'm still going to have to have a way to provide access to the hatch in the event the actuator just dies. It sticks sometimes now.
Those terminals I purchased are too short to fit under the seat and to reach the engine bay area. I drilled through under the seat and there is an inch gap before coming in contact with the engine bay wall. Probably 3 inches from under the seat to the engine bay.

Thats a good idea and one I'll certainly do.
I did place battery terminals under the rear seat for each battery so I can charge from within the cockpit area.
Probably will do an armhole too just in case.
