If the 4 blades slip a lot more then that is no good either. More then just the friction to think about.

Does the hull have shorty or raised drives? Could be a reason someone installed 5 blades.

Be interesting to see what happens if when they get the newer/lighter Victory rigged, or if they will continue with that plan. There current boat has shown it doesn't accelerate with the lighter CMS...
