Single engined v-hulls handle better with smaller pitched props...for lots of reasons.

I suggest going to a 1.35 gear aproximately... and going with a smaller pitched props.

When measuring the true running length of a Rage and a Heat...they are truely about 2 ft shorter than the advertized length...ie the swim step is about 2 feet long.

I have about 20 hours on the SCX lower...

I have about 20 hours on the SCX lower now...without even a sign of metal on the magnets.

I am running it an inch higher than my SC lower...and am getting aproximately the same slip numbers....

A whippled 525 makes north of 700 horsepower...which should put it in the mid 80's.

When my boat was stock (600sci) it would consistantly do 79-80

I would guess 85-88 mph for...
