The exhaust fumes got to the cockpit a long time ago !!!. Loose clamp and leaking gasket fouled all 16 plugs I guess the fumes got there.

Yes in Texas I had to run with the drive tucked all the way in to keep the boat in the water. The boat likes the drive neutral with the bottom to run and handle best.
