The pin is toward the transom and the bolt with a nylock is farther from the transom but they line up with each other in a front to rear orientation.

I never saw the bar or the joint/bracket on the bar (was missing when I bought boat) but your description would have to be the way it was.

What you describe would fit what I have...

My guess is that the bar went across the "top" so to speak, with the bracket coming in from the side over the top of the pin and the stud.

There's no room below. It would hit the ram arm end.

The distance from center of pin/stud is 21 3/8" without touching anything. There is enough play to easily push both drives toward each other 1/16 of an inch to make an exact 21" between the center,...

The one with the OMCs is a Chris Craft Stinger 260.

When I had time to take a pic it was pouring.

I might fall back on making one up.
I know what S/S heim joints are...What's "CP"?

Searching for Tie Bar for drives

Currently looking for a 21" tie bar to connect OMC cobra drives. Boat still has (intact) brackets on inner drive trim ram ends. Would like to replace missing bar.
