If that is true.... go straight for a Formula 311.
Otherwise it's 24s and 272s. The 272s are nice, but the 311s are so much nicer.

It had everything I wanted, so I bought it.

I was worried about the drives for the first year or so.

But if I have a should have a problem with the Cobras I will switch to Volvos. ...

Yeah... I had an sbc with an Alpha in my Nova.

But I bought a Chris Craft with two OMCs because I really liked the boat.

There are some guys on this board who ACTUALLY OWN cobra drives.
These would be the people to listen to.

Member Liberator21 is particularly well versed in Cobras.

I have smallblocks with Cobras, there is no problem with them except that they don't advertise as much as merc so people assume that they are junk.

Not the case.

They are fine and have large...
