some good points! Last time a drilled about a 6"...

some good points! Last time a drilled about a 6" hole for side exit exhaust, one drillbit hole at a time around the circle, then just tidied up the edges for a tight fit. I think I will do the same...

Thanks all. Will be drilling from the back toward inside of engine compartment. So, no way to finish from the inside.....Agree, measure many times, drill once.....

There area im drilling through is above the rub rail, so I think pretty thin. Not like going through the transom. I like the reverse spin on the saw to score the circle, I just didn't want to have...
