Cutting my new exhaust holes today! 5" hole saw. Biggest risk of doing this job is the potential to break a wrist. Pretty sure I sprained mine when the drill grabbed! :(

Yes, the small bit allows you to locate the hole...

Yes, the small bit allows you to locate the hole from both sides and then use the bigger bit (in reverse for the first 1/16" depth) on both inside and outside and then drill half way on each side!
