Help w/ 2009 Chevy 2500HD ITBC

Does anyone have any experience w/ Chevrolets (ITBC) Intergrated Trailer Brake Controller? I'm towing a Skater Trailer w/ Carlisle Electric over Hydraulic brakes. The signals, flashers, brake & running lights all work but absolutely no power to the brakes.

According to the owners manual the factory installed option is 100% ready to use, nothing to hook up under the dash or hood like you would w/ an aftermarket controller.

"I posted this under trucks & trailers too but thought a fellow Sketar Bro might be able to offer some advice"

i have a dexter electric hydrolic brake actuator and that didnt work either with the itbc. After going to the dealer and having them tell me nothing is wrong i called Dexter and they said Chevrolet has not figured how to make the itcb compatible with the electric hydrolic brakes so untill they figure it out you will have to use an after market brake controller i would suggest you have chevy do it .

John,

Thanks for your input. I have a nice Tecumseh controller so looks like I'll be reinstalling it.
