I been testing a 2" shorty the past two weekends. Main concern in the mid range where I cruise.
With a 26 bravo on std. drive .
47mph @3800, 50@4000 ninety percent of the time.
With the Shorty running a bravo 28
47-50@3600 depending on water conditions
53-55@3800
57@4000. even saw 60 a few times@4000
72@wot. Not much gain at the top.
I had installed 30" tabs using the Bennet cylinders. Problem is they don't retract high enough. Probably scrubing a little speed. So far Im really happy with what i've seen.

I had heard that you were doing some testing...
Was waiting to see your results...I have to say, I like the results. Like you, I'm more interested in the mid-range performance. I do like those numbers...
I'd like to see how it does with a 5 blade.
