How Fast Is My 26" Sonic Prowler?
I have a 2000 Sonic that had the stock zz502 in it with a Lunati cam. We guestimated the orig HP to be about 450-475 and I could get 69mph@4900rpm with a 3blade and 67 with a 4blade at about 5100rpm. Bob Madera hooked me up(I say that loosely since Im already 2x what I budgeted lol) with new Heads Cam Intake etc.... I told him my goal was 600+ hp. If i get my 600+hp what kind of speed do you guys think I can expect with 26p 4 blade prop? If Im not really close to or over 80mph I think Im gonna cry.

Go to the following Procharger supercharger site. This should give you an idea of what to expect with 600+ HP.

I'm planning to go with their supercharger maybe next Summer. My Prowler has the stock 502 with 415 HP. Just adding a Procharger supercharger to a stock 502 should put me in or close to the 80MPH range.

I have an 01 26 prowler, 540 ci, 630 hp @5300 RPM and 700 lbs of trouque. I'm running a 26 b1 prop. Best speed I've seen is 71.6. I also run a 25 revolution. Same speeds but get the boat on plane easier.

Had my 26 out Saturday with new Livorsi GPS speedo installed. Only the second time out since I got the boat in January. I'm finding out that getting this boat on plane is a hand full compared to my 22 Scarab.
Stock 502 with 22P B1 turning 4800 @ WOT. K-Planes set between 4 & 5 on plane just before it porpoises with the OD trimmed for max RPM and speed. With 100 gal. of gas (600 lbs.), 20 gal of water (160 lbs.) and the squeeze and me (350 lbs. total) , I barely got it to 58. Water was dish pan cam.
When I went out back in March for the first time the water pressure speedo read 66 MPH and that was with no water, 6" to 10" chop and about 40 gal of gas.
8 MPH difference in water pressure and GPS.
