2003 496ho

Ok, Im ready to pull the trigger on a bigger hp engine. Anyone looking for a drop in 2003 496 HO 425 hp, 350 hrs, uses no oil, fresh water only. Runs great just need more hp for the alltitude i boat at. Will be pulling plugs & doing a compresion check this weekend for verification of motor condition. Let me know. This motor has an awsome sounding lope at idle!!! $8500.00 or bo.

Does it have the cool fuel pump below the port side engine mount right next to the oil pan?

When you say drop in - do you mean fully dressed engine minus exhaust tips?

It does have the cool fuel pump on the port side, yes, complete fully dressed engine. Looking at a complete fully dressed drop in w/ more cid.

Would love to say yes, but not sure. What's in it now? Anything will fit with enough cutting, I mean massaging!

It should fit, if not, you will have to buy a "universal mounting kit" they are made by a company called "Sawzall" lol

Ok, make me an offer on this! Found an engine Ive got to have. Engine is still in my boat. Can send picts if needed. Hell, Ill throw in the exhaust tips!
