Ok, Im ready to pull the trigger on a bigger hp engine. Anyone looking for a drop in 2003 496 HO 425 hp, 350 hrs, uses no oil, fresh water only. Runs great just need more hp for the alltitude i boat at. Will be pulling plugs & doing a compresion check this weekend for verification of motor condition. Let me know. This motor has an awsome sounding lope at idle!!! $8500.00 or bo.

Does it have the cool fuel pump below the port side engine mount right next to the oil pan?

When you say drop in - do you mean fully dressed engine minus exhaust tips?

Would love to say yes, but not sure. What's in it now? Anything will fit with enough cutting, I mean massaging!

It should fit, if not, you will have to buy a "universal mounting kit" they are made by a company called "Sawzall" lol
