Yes, it's hard for people to compare every trailer side by side but, over the years, if you pay attention to other trailers out there you will see that Eagle is unmatched for strength and rigidity. Very important if you want to protect your boat hull from flexing , distorting, and gel cracking.
They also offer a hot dipped version of their trailer for saltwater use. I'm completely satisfied with the Eagle Custom that I have for my 260SS. I wouldn't leave home without it. LOL.
Good luck with refurbishing your Eagle, it's worth the effort.
