I am not sure how you figure this but to run the same speed as the trip you would need 750HP engines and bigger drives. By the time you figure all considerations in there will not be much difference. Do you think a SC engine is cheap on fuel? Also you would have to burn premium fuel where the HP 500’s can run on reg. All combinations have advantages and disadvantages

Lot's of luck dealing with them ass------ liquidators all they did for me was run me to ohio 2 times to tell me the boat had a deposit on it,and had it when I called from maryland.I would stay away from them

I have owned a 32 fountain without rotted stringers. Do some research on this era fountain-they had issues with stringer rot from non treated materials being used. That's the main reason you would want a good surveyor to look at the boat.
And you get a fricking life a##wipe if I didn't have the means to buy and run the boat I wouldn't be posting about it.
