I am looking for a sitdown style boat.... As for the comparison, the activator and the superboat are pretty similar, except the price. The superboat is a ridiculous bargain for what you get. I personally like the styling of it much more than the activator...just a sleeker looking boat. The activator is rigged very nicely but in my mind is not worth the near $150k it takes to get one. The SB ran 75 with a 496HO and whippled would do about 83....for a fraction of the cost. So in my mind the Superboat wins. You can get one for cheaper, spend a bit extra making it nicer on the inside, and still have enough to buy yourself a new towing vehicle---my situation.
We are still looking to get a ride in a 27 Zr donzi, and a progression 29 or 27, but the Superboat is on the top of my list. Had a ride in the 24 Progression last year---awesome boat.
Activator was real fast. The orange one below was a 101mph boat, we went 96....solid ride, nicely appointed on the inside, but way to much $$$. The blue on shows the high deck that made it not as appealing to me vs. the SB.
