How do the Activators hold up? Are they crack-inclined potato chips or would I expect to see them hold up more like my Pantera? (I'm not ball breaking I really dig the 30 but don't know ANYTHING about the boats.)

Activator's are great boats. We raced the GECKO in OPA for 2001 no problems all season. Just changed the fluids and jump in and have a great time. We raced a couple of superboats back then and never had a problem passing them. If you are looking for a balls to the walls boat with not a lot of upkeep go with Activator.

Just for the record I do not work for Activator or get paid commission unless they want to.

So I have 2006 and 2007 as answers for the hull update. Which one is it? I ask because I'm interested in this class of boat for my next purchase in the spring (Looking for a 28-30 ft V w/a 525). I like the activators and the kryptonites, but I haven't ruled out superboat's yet. I haven't taken a ride in any of them, so just have what people post on this website as my reference. Need to get as much info on these boats as possible before I start test driving next spring!!

They both are really nice boats. Personally, I think the Y2K is a better looking boat. I don't think you could go wrong either way!
