under 30 feet the activator hands down is the fastest single vee, power to power, and will handle some very mean water a swell.i've rigged or rerigged a half dozen with up to 950 h.p . a sitdown 27 with say a single four 750 is good for a hundred easily and will flat tear ass on prettymuch anything.

The activator and the kryptonite are both equally great boats. Power for power although, kryptonite is faster. With 500hp, a kryptonite will go 84. It takes 600hp to get a activator to the same speed. Rough water they are also neck and neck. The activator will slice through with the 7" beam and the krypto will float on top with its 8" beam.

MRD has 2 nice boats rite now. The red 27 activator and the red 29 progresion. Red is a very hard color to keep and both boats are mint so you can tell they have been very well taken care of their entire life. I know i had a red boat and it was a basket case , fadded so bad I called it the brick. Both are priced well below what they would have gotten this time last year. MRD has been around forever and will be around forever so buying anything from them is just a bonus. Skip was able to put another 20 MPH into my boat so they know their stuff !!
