Concept, yes they are sensitive to tab movement. I took at long level and set them neutral or flat with the bottom of the boat and mark that on your indicators. You can adjust the cables a bit so they are showing neutral in the same places on the indicator. Then you start from there and won't need to move them much at all. I would guess maybe a little extra port tab, but that depends on your prop. I stay very close to neutral on mine and only adjust port down a tad.
Most of the time I never touch them. Once they are set the boat just rocks!

Very nice work and great thread. So Mark does not have the 27 mold anymore to make a 27. I remember Mark and BJ flying around F1 class years ago tearing up the water on the course with the 27 green & yellow boat. Surprised he sold that mold. Met those 2 guys years ago at the races, very nice guys to sit around and talk boats with.
As far as a pleasure 27 what are the specs of the boat and cabin layout / headroom. THX.
